Terms of service

These terms are an agreement between you and SYNCHUBB INNOVATIONS PRIVATE LIMITED ("Nightjar", "we") for the use of Nightjar, the Windows app and the website. By signing in or buying interviews you agree to them.

The service

Nightjar transcribes interview audio on your computer and generates suggested answers using AI, based on the resume, job description and other details you provide. Suggestions can be wrong or incomplete; you decide what to say and are responsible for it.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be 18 or older. You sign in with a Google account and are responsible for activity on it. One person per account; don't share sessions or accounts.

Free trial, purchases and sessions

• Each account and each computer gets one free trial session of 10 minutes.
• Paid interviews are bought on this website, in INR, through Cashfree Payments. One credit is one session of up to 2 hours, used on one computer at a time.
• Prices may change; a change never affects credits you already own.
• Refunds are covered by our refund policy.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for using Nightjar lawfully and for following the rules of any interview, employer, exam or platform you use it with. Don't use Nightjar to break the law, to misuse other people's data, or to attack, overload or reverse engineer the service, and don't resell access.

Fair use and availability

Sessions have limits (for example on answers and screenshots per minute) so the service stays fast for everyone. We aim for Nightjar to be available whenever you need it, but can't guarantee uninterrupted service; if an outage on our side stops you using a session, we return its credit.

Your content

Your resume, job description and interview content remain yours. We process them only to provide the service, as described in the privacy policy.

Liability

Nightjar is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses, including the outcome of any interview, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.

Suspension

We may suspend accounts that break these terms. Unused credits on a suspended account are refunded unless the suspension is for fraud or abuse.

Changes and law

We may update these terms and will change the date above when we do. These terms are governed by the laws of India; courts in Kolkata have jurisdiction.
